SUMMARY In the last years scientific literature has been enriched with new models of Moho depth in Antarctica Continent derived by seismic reflection technique and refraction profiles, receiver functions surface waves, but also gravimetric observations over continent. particular, gravity satellite missions two decades have provided data this remote region Earth allowed investigation crust properties. Meanwhile, other important contributions direction given fourth International Polar Year (IPY, 2007–2008) which started seismographic geodetic networks unprecedented duration scale, including airborne gravimetry largely unexplored Antarctic frontiers. study, a model for depths is proposed.
